This pad hands down is the best you will ever find or use if you have a existing pad put it under the bed roll for that at home in your own bed experience as a extra added comfort. I believe they are in the works for a cover for the pad but mine is holding up great with out but will add one when they become available
I really like the pad. I’ve spent 5 very cold nights on it and have been very comfortable. I would really like some sort of protective cover for the foam itself. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Yes. Go to Walmart and buy a cheap twin mattress cover, they work really good.
