I took my summit sleep system on a 10 day elk hunt Colorado and experienced about every weather situation except snow. The sleep system worked perfectly and kept me warm and dry in the rain, sleet and hail. Great product.

I’ve used my Summit bedroll on 2 sheep scouting trips and it has worked great! The bug screen kept the skeeters out on the first trip and the full cover kept me dry through the thunder showers on the second trip.
The zippers seem very sturdy and the material is waterproof and seems like it will be durable.
Haven’t found any sheep yet, but I’ll be back in the mountains again soon, and I’ll definitely be packing Summit Bedroll.

Absolutely love it. I'm not a big "base camp" kind of guy so I've always valued being able to quickly pack up and be on to the next camp site. This delivers with ease, comfort, and versatility. Condensation has not been an issue for me at all, just leave some openings in the zippers to vent. Overall plenty of space for an average sized guy, pretty damn sturdy considering where I've put it down so far, good headroom for sleeping when propped up, and suuper quick and easy to roll up. pair it with a camping tarp and some trekking poles and you have a perfect place to sit if you need to prepare something in the rain.

Great system even when the weather sucks these keep you dry! Lightweight and built tough!

I was looking for a well made American bedroom to simplify my camping, which brought me to Canvas Cutters. Then when they made it in nylon with mosquito netting I was hooked. This bag is so well made, bomb proof materials, attention to details and sewing, seam sealed throughout and demonstrates absolute craftsmanship through and through. Little details like the mosquito net having different colored pulls makes this a joy to use. A great bit if kit.
Recommended highly. Dean B

Instructions would be nice. I googled set-up on u-tube but didn’t see anything with respect to set up. Obviously I figured it out. So far so good. Took it hog hunting. It worked great. Longer straps would be nicer as I have a 2” thick piece of foam. I have a 10 days horse ride coming up. That will be the real test.

So far so good. Looking forward to putting it to use this summer and fall in the mountains. I also did a first impressions video on my Youtube channel at the link below.

I like it ... but it needs another tie down at the head ... this would pull the outside away from your head.

I’m very impressed. It’s well built, zippers function great, insect need is awesome addition. Used first time on a 3 night kayak trip and happy with results.

Used it on a high elevation deer hunt. Temperature at night was in the teens. I stayed warm and dry. My only complaint is the condensation buildup throughout the night inside.

My two sons and I did a portion of the Foothills Trail thru-hike in NW South Carolina. They slept in a two-man tent and I used my new Summit. So simple and so light! I also figured out that if I folded it lengthwise in thirds I can roll it very small and tuck it away into a small stuff sack and it takes very little space in my ultralight, mountain backpack.

Poles bent the first time I set it up. That might be normal though idk.

Great set up. Easy, light weight and versatile. I love that everything is rolled up in it and can be set up very quickly. I love the fly net. Wish my canvas model had one.

I have several hunts this fall...the Summit will go on most of them. Quick and easy set up. Plenty of room to breath and rollover which I do a lot of. Light weight and well made. I love that I now have this option for the back of the truck, at a campsite or even a moderate pack in the backcountry. Easily replaces a one person tent when the weather is conducive.

Look and feel of good quality materials and workmanship. Haven't gotten to use it yet, but will on my upcoming archery elk hunt.

Sweet product the only thing I did notice is where the tent poles go into the grommets could be a little bit wider to get a better bite on the grommet, and it was my bad I should of tied up the big screen to keep it off my legs but the mosquitos tore into me pretty good, all in all great product and can’t wait to get it back into the back country

Have not got to try it out yet but getting all my bedding set up in it I noticed that the built in straps seem to be a little short to keep the roll rolled up. Quality of material seem to be very durable(time will tell).

Quality is top notch as expected. Love my Dominator, but wanted a light weight option for spike camping and being more mobile on hunts. Will be using during elk season this year.

Will be going on a pack trip on the 22nd of July. Will be a great test.

No pic as i have only had it set up in the grass at the moment. Yet, from what I can see and gather so far, this will be EXCELLENT for my purpose while hunting elk in Wyo. Thanks Canvas Cutter for an awesome product.

Absolutely what I expected. Wonderful craftmenship and design. Only problem is I haven't used it yet!!!

Bedroll was excellent. Have only used once. Weather was not very cold but rain and wind threw the night. Slept cozy. Look forward to using again.

Super light and convenient deployment.

Received my Summit shelter and immediately tested it in my backyard sleeping through the night in -5 degree weather. It performed flawlessly with my mat and sleeping bag, kept me warm all night and the whole thing still rolls up small enough to strap to the bottom of my pack. The whole complete sleep system weighs only 9 lbs for winter use and can be setup with rods in just a few minutes. This will be my primary bedroll for all seasons and I couldn’t be happier with it so far!

Customer service was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bedroll with Snugpak Jungle bag and base camp pad weight 6.0lbs good to 30F. Add 12 ounce down quilt good to 15F. Loose the tent travel light.

Great bedroll. Love that I can roll up my bag, pad, and pillow and throw it all in wherever I go.

Perfect for early season hunts in NM and Texas. Bug net is a lifesaver. No complaints.

I am going to use it primarily for archery. It is done for the year and will plan on using it for spring and summer overnight hikes. It appears to be very well made and look forward to more spike camping next year.

I Hunted Mountain Goat for the week in Colorado, it Snowed a bit and very windy. The summit held up perfect!
Brian Z.
Seems well built. I'll be putting it to the test next week in oregon.

This is money! Loving the weight of this. Perfect for the warmer seasons to not get so hot. And having the mesh zip up is perfect for keeping bugs off but the fresh air in !

Its all I hoped it would be.

Easy to set up, quick to break down. Being able to roll out in a few seconds and pack up in a few minutes is probably the one the biggest perks to me because l hate wasting time on the trail. I really like the convenience of being able to just roll up all your gear inside and not have to worry about packing your sleeping bag, pad, pillow, cloths etc. individually. It can get a little bulky depending on the pad you use but I use a fairly large pad and it’s still very compact and light weight. I was a little disappointed that there pole system was out of stock when I bought it but the loops on the exterior work fine. I live in Southern Nevada and it can get a little hot inside the bedroll but if you use the vents on the side or just leave it open it’s not a problem. Overall great product this is definitely a must have after trying so many different tent, bivy, and hammock set ups.
