Canvas Cutter Warranty Policy

At Canvas Cutter, we stand behind our durable gear for real-world adventures. We want you to buy with confidence—that's why we offer our signature Generational Guarantee on qualifying canvas products, ensuring coverage through generations when used as intended.

Generational Guarantee

We warrant to the original purchaser that canvas-based products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the product's lifetime and beyond, transferable to immediate family with proof.

Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in fabric, stitching, zippers, or other workmanship.

  • Material failures under normal intended use.

Not Covered (Exclusions)

  • Normal wear and tear, fading, or discoloration from sun exposure, dirt, or regular use.

  • Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper care, cleaning, storage, or modification.

  • Damage from sharp objects, fire, animals, extreme weather beyond reasonable use, or commercial/rental use.

  • Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality.

  • Products altered, repaired, or serviced by anyone other than Canvas Cutter without prior approval.

Claims Process 

Contact us at support@canvascutter.com with proof of purchase, photos, and usage details. We may require a return for inspection (shipping may apply). If approved, we'll repair, replace, or issue comparable credit at our discretion.

This is a limited guarantee; we reserve the right to approve claims. Applies only to original purchaser or family heirs with proof; not transferable otherwise.

Special Product Warranties

Certain products have unique warranties due to materials or design, offering reasonable coverage for inherent traits like punctures or compression.

  • Foam Products: Sold AS-IS, no performance warranty. Sales final unless in original, unopened packaging per returns policy. No coverage for compression, breakdown, odor, or degradation.

  • Inflatable and Air-Based Products: 3-Year Limited Warranty from purchase date, covering defects under normal use (exclusions above apply). No coverage after 3 years.

  • Synthetic Fabric Products: 5-Year Limited Warranty from purchase date, covering

defects under normal use (exclusions above apply). No coverage after 5 years.

General Terms and Fine Print

  • Non-transferable except for generational inheritance; proof of purchase required.

  • We determine eligibility for repair/replacement.

  • Maximum liability limited to incidental damages not exceeding original purchase price.

  • We disclaim liability for consequential or other damages under any legal theory, even if remedy fails essential purpose. Some jurisdictions prohibit exclusions, so limitations may not apply.

  • No express/implied warranties beyond those stated or manufacturer descriptions.

  • Sole remedies: repair, replace, or refund at our option if warranty breached or fails purpose.
