This is NOT a regular foam pad you can purchase somewhere else, that is unless you bought a high-end mattress, cut it open, pulled the foam out and cut it to your bedroll size, which we don’t recommend. However, our foam pad is the same foam used in the original purple mattress. Our foam pad is 3” of 35 ISB foam and is 2 lbs per cubic foot!!! When translated that means “This is the most comfortable foam pad you can purchase.” If you want to take your bedroll sleep system and turn it into the most comfortable bed you have slept on, we highly recommend adding our mattress foam pad to your bedroll sleep system.
