Best camping mattress I have ever used. I have 4 different ones, and this by far is the best. I have 3 now.
I have quite a bit of gear from Canvas Cutter and also gave five star reviews This cover however fall far short of Canvas Cutters quality in my opinion First of all when I order the cover and pad together I was not told the plaid cover was on back order I needed the pad and cover for a turkey hunt and only had the pad to use and I had to use it This plaid cover is paper thin It does not cover the entire pad and I will use it but I don’t think it will last like there other products because of how thin the material is
I am 6 foot six and this pad is perfect for me. I bought a set of Twin, extra long sheets. And Folded a king blanket, and a half and made an amazing bed. I laid down on it on the concrete floor of my shop and I could hardly tell those concrete below me. I got the buffalo flannel cover just for additional layers with it as well!
It fits perfectly. I had a white bed cover but always slipped around. It’s also nice to just sleep directly on it and throw a wool blanket over. Took an afternoon rest on it and fell asleep.
Still testing it, not sure on the verdict yet.
The fit of the bedroll inside the dominator 3.0 is great! The feel is comfortable on hard ground and sleeps well, paired with the bunker bag and rem pillow it all meshes. Looks great and sleeps better. Thanks for the great products Canvas Cutter!
It’s not long enough. I ordered a bedroll from j and p canvas that is 7 feet long. This pad is four feet long. It’s comfortable, just not long enough.
Never fully expanded to 80”. I got the 75” version and the 80” pad cover.
That's a dang good foam pad. Fits my Dominator 3 perfectly, get excelent sleep on it, and rolls up neatly when I'm done using it. Mighty glad I got this pad and the Dominator 3. Thanks for making such great outdoor gear!
the foam itself has nothing wrong with it except most of us have smaller SUV's and trying to stuff that foam in the back of a small SUV takes up too much room. spit the foam into three equal sections cover it with your canvas material put velcro on the sides and now we have two items a seat cusion and a foam matress. if some one looses a seaction of foam they will come back to you for purchase rather than a different store.

Prior to utilizing this pad, I experienced severe sleep disturbances, characterized by persistent pain in the middle of the night. However, since incorporating this pad into my sleep routine, I have observed a significant improvement in my overall well-being. I no longer experience chronic morning fatigue, and I have more-so eliminated my back pain to tolerable levels.
Very comfortable and worth the money!
The cover was thrown in as a package deal with the new version dominator package. I bought the new dominator for my son after owning an original model that i LOVE. Unfortunately the original model is better in almost everyway. It was simpler, quicker, burlier, and had a better pad. Plus the new pole system is poorly conceived and it is difficult to zip with it put up. It also rubs on the top of the canvas and will eventually wear through. If i could trade the new one for an old version i would for sure. In terms of the plaid cover, you are far better off buying a bed sheet and sewing it into a slip-over cover. Thats what i did for my original version and its perfect.
So comfy and warm easy roll up.
It’s not very comfortable it compresses all the way down. I ended up going with a thermarest mondo king xl.

Fit beautifully into a canvas bedroll we already had. So much more comfortable. My husband has back problems and he’s taken this on all of his fall hunting adventures and slept so well!

Perfect pad, way better than my high end thermarest inflatable. I’m 6’2 225 side sleeper and find the foam to be simply amazing. Can’t wait to get more for the family. Please restock the fortress foam pad as it will quickly replace all my blow ups pads.
Replaced a swag pad with the Canvas Cutter foam pad and am pleased! It is indeed very comfortable! I recommend it.
So my wife and I purchased the dominant 2.0 full sleep system a little while back. She liked the idea and look of it but was skeptical. Well we finally got the chance to use it on a fishing trip on the river weekend. After a long day on the water we pulled up on the bank and built a fire . We rolled out the bed roll and she laid down for like 2 minutes and was out lol !! She couldn’t get over how comfortable it was and we can both fit in it and sleep. It made our fishing and camping trip so much more enjoyable that I bought the Bivy for solo trips. I’m definitely sold on the quality of y’all’s products and they are worth the price
My son got this for Christmas and loves it.
So I sleep in my bedroll a lot. Even in the house. I have tried all the different sleep systems in my Dominator. Including a high quality inflatable mattress and high end sleeping bag. They were OK, but I have returned to the original foam mattress and wool blankets. For me it is the very best and most comfortable way to get a great nights sleep in my Dominator.
Nice soft cover for the foam mattress, looks a lot classier than bare foam.

I have one of the original canvas cutters works awesome! So good. Both of my sons saved up and bought their own and use them throughout the year. Foam used to snag if you moved around much and create tears in it. But with the new cover, don't worry about that works awesome!
At that price why not add it just for an additional layer. It’s smooth and helps keep the fitted sheet from sticking to it.
