I just spent the weekend riding all over the Great Smoky Mountains in TN. This saddle bag never moved or shifted or got loose. We logged over 50 miles in rough terrain with steep hills and I never once had to tighten down my bag. I absolutely love this bag the size is perfect. I had my lunch extra water small first aid kit halter and lead rope and saw and still had tons of room. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

That Brumby Cantle Bag is a damn fine piece of gear. Heavy canvas, bombproof straps, and it stays bone-dry through every kind of weather I’ve thrown at it. Worth every penny if you ride hard.
Man, the Brumby cantle bag from Canvas Cutter is straight-up solid. Heavy canvas, stays locked down even when you’re trotting hard. No bounce, no mess. Love the Brumby. I've been using it as a daily tool bag, I work in construction. The large main pocket fits my hand tools just right. The top pockets I use one for gloves and safety glasses. The other for bits and small tools that get lost when mixed with my hand tools. The canvas is really tough strong enough to handle everything. The tuck away strap is good for transport or moving up ladders.
This is my first review. I own almost all the Canvas Cutter products and will continue to buy their products. Great company! Great products! I’ve used their products for a wide range of things from training in the military, travel, chilling and sleeping at home, camping and all things outdoors. This is a fantastic bag, I actually probably use it the most out of all there products. I use it for a different kind of horse. But it works just the same! It Allows me to ride around with the things I may need without having to pack a backpack and it doubles as a bag I can carry around since it comes with a cross-body strap you can tuck in away. So far I’m able to carry a plethora of things from clothes to a jack, EDC items, food etc. and keep them dry. I haven’t really found anything that I need that hasn’t fit. What’s nice is there is enough slack on the top straps that you can attach a jacket to it or something bigger like the Canvas Cutter sleeping bag or other bigger items and I’m able to securely transport it around. So it not only does it allow you to carry around anything you may need you can use it as an additional attachment point for other things. Overall this bag exceeded my expectations, highly recommend and worth every penny and is in keeping with the rest of their products. 10/10
I moved from a typical one big pouch style cantle bag to the Brumby. I love the different pockets, the way it cinches down, the straps for attaching a rain coat, and quality. Super well thought out and as a fan of canvas cutter yellow, it looks pretty punchy too.
Great little rig for overniter or long day in the saddle. The compression straps on the outside were great for quick access to my vest. Super secure cinching the bag to the saddle D’s. Very well thought out and built to last. Recommended 👍

I actually bought the Brumby not to use as a cantle bag but as an equine med kit for putting on pack mules. For this purpose I think it is as good as it gets without going custom made. The straps for attaching to the D rings on a saddle work just fine attaching the kit to the horizontal bars on a box hitch. I did sew some D rings on to mine so I could run a strap around the load as another option and of course it’s very secure if you just throw a diamond over it. I really like the separate pouches which make it easy ti organize medications, bandages and my emergency shoeing kit. I did leave this in the back of my truck by accident during a good thunderstorm and all the contents inside were totally dry. This bag really suits my needs and I’d highly recommend to anyone else!
We picked up two Brumby bags, one for my wife and one for me, this spring. So far we have used them cowboying, trail clearing, numerous trail rides, and we just got back from a 10-day pack trip. The sling feature converts these into awesome fishing/day packs. They are plenty roomy but you can also cinch them down with the straps and keep a low profile behind your cantle. Large water bottles (32oz) slip easy into the top compartments. They are pricey but holding up well.
It was the first time taking it out it was a short 5 hours trip and it was perfect…. Just enough room for lunch and a couple odds and ends…it’s grate .when a big seat of saddle bags are not needed..can’t wait for for the next trip*****

It’s great. The layout of the bag is well suited. I putt my gloves in the upper compartment, my tools in the left one and my halter and rope in the lower wide compartment. The straps are great too! could maybe be a little longer (for tying my d-ring). The strap for caring it as a duffel bag is awesome, used it every time I have a competition. Saw it at the broncs and donks channel was immediately hooked on the product. Thanks you guys!
Easy way to load stuff at the house and to carry to the trailer. When your ready to ride it’s very simple to attach to your saddle. Cancel bag is bigger than it looks and holds a lot.
The Brumby is well-built and feels like it will be super durable, but my favorite attribute is the long straps for tying on elk sheds!!!

Best cantle bag on the market. I put a 3L water bladder with insulation bag in the bottom big pocket, lunch and snacks in on of the upper pockets and first aid in the other.

Great bag. Room for any trail riders needs and the attechment will maintain stability. The top two comparments will seperate the load, such has lunch on one side and beversges kn the other. This cantel bag had a lot of thought put into it so that any cowboy could love it.
Worked good to carry a few thing gathering cattle.

Je l’adore ! . J’ai longtemps fait du camping dans la nature sauvage et j’ai participé durant ma jeunesse à rassembler le bétails et j’avoue que ce brumby aurait été génial ! Maintenant je suis plus vieille et il va me servir pour mes randonnées en quad 😁 I love it! I spent a lot of time camping in the wilderness and helped round up cattle when I was younger, and I have to admit this Brumby would have been fantastic! Now I'm older, and it's going to be useful for my quad bike rides.😁
I love the bag. I have an older Brumby that has the plastic clips on it, and I tend to use it more than the newer ones with the G hooks on it. The G Hook on the shoulder strap comes undone pretty easily just from setting it down. Outside of that it’s a great bag and is perfect when it stays attached to the saddle.

This is a great bag for trips to the wilderness. I don’t ride horses anymore, but it is a very useful bag to carry in a jeep on the trails. I like the waterproof sections to keep valuables dry.
